The first edition of the <\/span>Longevity Festival<\/b> which had the merit of highlighting all the indicators necessary to decree good health.<\/span><\/p>

In the space of the Library of <\/span>Perdasdefogu <\/b>booths of companies reached by many visitors showcased the treasures of agribusiness (<\/span>Villagrande Hams<\/b> of Villagrande Strisaili; the <\/span>Pastificio Sapori di Sardegna<\/b> of Loceri; The <\/span>Chiai Dairy<\/b> of Barisardo; <\/span>the Vigna de’ Luceri winery <\/b>of Loceri; <\/span>The centu e prusu estates <\/b>of Perdasdefgofu; The <\/span>Pastry Delight <\/b>of Perdasdefogu; the <\/span>dairy Hircus<\/b> of Perdasdefogu; the Lai and Carta agricultural company of Perdasdefogu; the <\/span>Pranu Tuvara Winery<\/b> of Cardedu.<\/span><\/p>

Stands also of service companies such as <\/span>Sardinia E- motion <\/b>of Ulassai; <\/span>Its Blue zone foundation<\/b> of Tortol\u00ec; <\/span>Chintula tourist services <\/b> of Urzulei. And the Autonomous Region of Sardinia with the Department of Tourism, Crafts and Trade; the Regional Forestry Agency for the Development of the Territory and Environment of Sardinia (FoReSTAS). <\/span><\/p>

SHOW COOKING WINNERS<\/b><\/p>

Meanwhile, it was Stefano Piliero, chef in charge of the brigade (with students Massimo Pes, Michela Porcu, from Esterzili and Tortol\u00ec) who won the show cooking, the event that during the three-day festival involved professionals and students (20 kids in 4 brigades) from the IANAS State Professional Technical Institute in Tortol\u00ec.<\/span><\/p>

GUINNESS TORTOLIS AND PERDAS<\/b><\/p>

Festival Theater, the municipalities of <\/span>Tortol\u00ec <\/b>e <\/span>Perdasdefogu<\/b>, two of the longest-living localities in the region, with Perdasdefogu even ranked in the Guinness Book of World Records 2022 as the community with the highest concentration of centenarians in the world.<\/span><\/p>

The question that all the speakers tried to answer is why exactly the region of Ogliastra, with its incredible landscapes of unspoiled nature, which so harmoniously connect to the lifestyle <\/span>slow, <\/span><\/i>has become one of the areas in the world with the highest concentration of centenarians and ultracentenarians (the other regions to claim Blue Zone status are the islands of Okinawa in Japan and Ikaria in Greece, the Nicoya Peninsula in Costa Rica, and the community of Loma Linda in California).<\/span><\/p>

A feature that, in addition to being the subject of scientific and social studies, moreover has a strong international appeal, conditioning the marketing and promotion of an area with enormous potential and great scope for development in several directions, first and foremost under the tourism-environmental aspect.<\/span><\/p>

BUDGET<\/b><\/p>

An excellent turnout of the public first of all, equally distributed between residents of the two places that hosted the main events, and people from other places not only on the island, decreed the success of a festival with an itinerant nature and that brought to Ogliastra and the Quirra jump scholars and experts from prestigious universities and research centers.<\/span><\/p>

The program then managed to offer various moments: conferences, seminars, a show cooking broadcast on TV, educational tours and a market-fair.<\/span><\/p>
