Massimo Sechi farm - artisan dairy and educational farm

Our company was founded in 2018 in the heart of Sardinia, strong with an unsympathetic agro-pastoral tradition: fathers and grandfathers who are farmers have proudly handed down their knowledge to us.

A farm dedicated to goat breeding, we have created the artisanal dairy where the
cheese making is done using the raw milk method: an ancestral process, only possible due to the fact that we milk and process the milk within a short time of milking, without pasteurizing it, thus allowing the organoleptic qualities of our goats’ milk to be transferred distinctly to the cheeses.

Our herd grazes on an area ranging from the 400 meters of ^SA STIDDIOSA^ to the 1330 meters of
mount PERDEDU rich in aromatic herbs of which as many as 25 are recognized as native herbs of the
territory of Seulo, and it is therefore starting from an exceptional raw material that we manage to give
our cheeses that unique and genuine flavor that characterizes them.

In addition to the artisanal dairy, we have also opened our educational farm! 🌾
Here, amid nature and tradition, we will guide you on a unique journey to discover animals, plants and ancient local traditions. Each visit is an opportunity to learn while having fun, in direct contact with the land and our animals.

Target markets:
Thanks to the recognition of the Artisan Dairy by the Region of Sardinia in 2020 as well as the awarding of the MOUNTAIN PRODUCT label (recognition by the European Community given to quality products), with our cheeses we have been able to reach a wide and varied market ranging from specialized stores to families in every part of Italy.
As for the educational farm, the recognition by the region of Sardinia and the registration of FATTORIA DIDATTICA DA MASSIMO E MICHELA in the official register of educational farms didactic farms, which took place in 2024, and the collaboration with various tour operators and travel agencies that direct their tourist offerings to a target audience interested in the rediscovery of traditions, healthy healthy eating and the secret of longevity, we have managed to bring to our small reality various guests from all over the world (from the United States, to Latin America, from Canada to Australia, from the United Arab Emirates to Japan just a few) and the market is vastly expanding

FARM VISIT

The tour begins at the dairy, followed by a light aperitif, and continues with a visit to the farm, where you come into direct contact with our animals: goats and kids, chickens and geese, rabbits and the small pond fish. Along the way, you can listen to the story of Seulo’s tradition and our centenarians, in an authentic experience between nature and culture. To conclude, there will be a tasting of the “centenarians’ chopping board,” with our cheeses (fresh and salted ricotta, casu axedu, fresh and semi-mature cheeses) and other zero-mile products made in Seulo.

EXTRA FIG AND MYRTLE JAM 230G

The soft and spreadable jam expresses an intense flavor. Exalted through cooking, the fruit retains the characteristics that are appreciated when tasting it fresh from the harvest. An excellent balance of fruit, sugar and myrtle liqueur creates one of the best jams in production.
