


Arra , the flavors of Ogliastra
We are first of all, artisans operating in a small structure that combines tradition and innovation, ancient and modern, global and local. A one-man company, led by the owner, Vito Arra, who also thanks to the work of about twenty collaborators, offers to markets throughout Italy and beyond the Alps, the most characteristic products of Sardinian pastry production.
We produce and package in Ogliastra, an island within an island, better known as the land of centenarians. That land we never wanted to leave despite the distance from the main regional highways and the difficulty in reaching markets.
We have never given in to the temptation to leave these places where sea and mountains meet forming a unique combination. It certainly would have been easier, but we are convinced that the added value of our products dwells in this unique territory, where beauty reigns, life still has slow and acceptable rhythms, and everything is done as nature intended.
We produce fresh filled pasta such as the well-known Culurgionis d’Ogliastra IGP, Sebadas, Malloreddus, now also in a tricolor version with spinach, carrots and saffron, Potato Gnocchi and Ravioli, in different versions and with different fillings.
But among the most popular specialties are also Pardulas and Coccoi Prena. The former, typical sweets with a filling of cheese, ricotta and herbs; the latter, renamed by us as savory Pardulas, with a filling of potatoes, cheese and mint.
All products are offered in transparent trays that allow a glimpse of the contents, and many of them are largely handmade, as in the case of Culurgionis d’Ogliastra IGP or Pardulas.
